Friends,
It's been over a year since I became involved in the fight to end human trafficking. This year has revealed sorrow beyond my imagination and joy that would not be there if it were not for people like us.
My hope is that you will somehow see the critical need to stop the sex trafficking of our children. Every child out there, regardless of nationality, gender or economic status deserves to feel safe, grow, learn and prosper without the threat of being abducted, trafficked or killed. Our fight is for lives.
We can impact our world together. The Box of Change Drive is an important campaign that can be used to reach into schools, colleges and other organizations to raise awareness and funds. When you think about how to help, please understand that F4C serves three primary purposes and we need volunteers in each of these areas:
- To raise awareness of the crime against humanity
- To generate the desperately needed funds for the shelter houses that offer refuge to these young survivors
- To take a proactive stance and start educating our youth of the dangers lurking on the streets.
Each of these purposes is achieved through the Box of Change Drives. It is of paramount importance to those who have no voice. Our fight is for hope.
When you consider helping, consider this: your contribution is multiplied by every person you reach out to. In a recent Chain Drive, we reached over 10,000 young adults. This took coordination, dedication and a lot of talented people. Today, I see those same young adults wearing Freedom Chains and I know we played a part in teaching, in helping and in saving lives. Our fight is for change and I see the change happening right before my eyes. Join us and open your eyes to the change.
